First Edit - "Crazy Scene"

This edit is going to be used in sections of my music video when it gets to the chorus. As I have had Itunes issues at home, I have been unable to put my song onto the video. This has got 46 views and I uploaded this to Youtube yesterday afternoon and shared it on Facebook .

I have used a range of different effects such as 50's TV, Black and white on ALL clips, a subway shadow, mirrored image and vintage on some to make the clips darker.

My favourite parts of my first edit  I have created is the depth of field my camera has created when the light is turned on and off. This happens as the camera is looking for an object or someone to focus on. I really like this effect as It will differ my work from other peoples and existing media texts have this element to them which I also enjoy to see. By doing this, I could say I am developing/reinforcing exisiting conventions of post modern media texts (that being a music video)

First shoot

Wednesday 4th of December 

This is how I had set up my use of the green screen and lighting. As the continuity of the green wall follows down to the floor, this will allow my backdrop to look professional as I will be limited to space in the photography studio. However, Myself and katie found the box lights in the green screen difficult to use as the ones in the photography studio have a larger variety of control options to create the light intensity you wish for.  I plan to film Jodee struggling to free herself from rope and scary movements in the photography studio too to have more of a variety as today I was unable to use the studio due to photography students using it. 

Katie had the role in my team as the light technician and was a true asset to my team as she was very helpful and gave her opinions on my work which helped me develop my ideas into reality. 

I am reorganising another shoot with Jodee and Katie in the photography studio to take photographs for my ancillary texts and more filming to make sure I have enough footage for my music video planned.
